Here’s the official notice of the federal hearing into Metro-North Railroad’s two accidents in Connecticut back in May.

One left more than 70 passengers injured, the other killed a foreman.
National Transportation Safety Board had scheduled the hearings for this week, but was forced to push them back when budget wars in Congress shut down parts of the federal government.
As I reported earlier this week, the hearings are now scheduled for Nov. 6 and 7 in Washington. Below is the official notice in the Federal Register:
